Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The answer to this may be easy to say but maybe not as easy to do. You need to understand your personal health care needs and choose Medicare coverage to help meet them. For example, if you take prescription drugs right now, when you get Medicare, you need to make sure you get Part D prescription drug coverage through either a stand-alone Part D plan or a Medicare Advantage plan.
You will likely pay the Part B premium to Medicare. Beyond that, you may pay other premiums, deductibles, co-pays and co-insurance. The total amount you pay will depend on the type of Medicare plan(s) you choose and the health care services you use during the year. This is why it is important to speak to one of our trusted Medicare advisors about what works best for you.
A deductible is an amount that you're responsible for in the event of a loss. This is the amount you pay out-of-pocket, and insurance covers the remainder.
